Tasty, succulent French classics, decent house red, interesting specials, cosy atmosphere, the desserts are great if you've still got room, always happy with our dinner.

We recently had dinner at Saint Bonicafe. Good food, friendly and service minded staff, informal atmosphere - really what you need and want.

A cosy, inviting little restaurant with two small rooms, burgundy walls covered with an eclectic mix of photos, posters, etc. Red checked table cloths, subtle but adequate lighting, warm reception, good food, good service, what more could you possibly want? The oysters were the best I have had in ages (apparently the restaurant is reputed for them). The house white... More

I am not a fan of French food, but I like this cosy restaurant. Friendly staffs and very good food. Very good duck. Stop by for dinner if you are in Ixelles.

ordered a bottle of water. Received it but no glass. Table was not stable outside so the bottle fell on the pavement. Really slow service. Oysters OK but qenelle of brochet horrible. Tasted of flower. You could not taste the fish at all. Will not go back

Cosy restaurant in the delightful neighborhood of Spain bono face church in Ixelles. The best veal liver I ever ate. Both main course, starter and dessert where a true delight. The cool red wine was a great companion for both our meals. Low key Cosy setting and gastronomic greatness. Definitely worth coming back.

Excellent restaurant with a very interesting menu, from livers to brain, oysters and other great ideas. The service is friendly and excellent. If you want a good meal, go here. You might be better to make a reservation before.

For years, I had not tasted so good pork cutlet, tender, savoury, an excellent choice. The egg meurette are absolutely delicious. The decoration is really well decotardes and recails the real French Bistot with a touch of elegance. A wonderful address.

Cute small restaurant in the pretty Saint Boniface area of Ixelles, close to but secluded from the European Parliament and central Brussels across the ring road. It feels antique but in fact was only established in 1987. About half-full on the April Thursday we visited for lunch - no need for a booking. Nice checked tablecloths, table lamps, interesting old... More
