What a shame....I remember coming to Vincent for years, to have my parents and gran parent bring me to the heart of Brussels and enjoy dinner at one of Brussels best ever places. As do many other reviewers say, its not what it used to be. The food remains excellent, but the service is what really brings down the place,... More

This is a traditional Belgian restaurant serving traditional Belgian steaks and mussels. All very good - especially the steak put. But the price - 34 euros for the steak, and the usual expensive wine. And the service was also traditionally Brussels - slightly grumpy.

We usually go when in Brussels but since the new ownership it's nowhere near what it was. We were there for my daughter's 50th. Birthday and the food and wine was still good so no worries there. However the number of staff is much reduced and even though they have kept the most experienced guys, who are as good as... More

Good meat restaurant. One of the few in the area that it's not one-time-tourist oriented. Popular among locals.

This has been a favourite of ours over more than 15 years of visiting Brussels. However, it is no longer appealing. The room is the same but the first disappointment was the reduced menu, now offered on a laminated card (rather than the wonderful old menus). Staff lost the commodore-type uniforms some time ago, which was a pity. Some old... More

We came here with my parents and booked in advance, after being told we only booked for 2 people (which was not the case) they managed to find us a table. We all ordered the croquettes for starters which were fantastic! Beautifully cooked and delicious. We then all but one had a steak and this was truly disappointing. All were... More

Fabulous brasserie atmosphere, beautiful ceramic tiles on the walls, and you walk in through the spotlessly clean kitchen. Excellent, traditional Belgian brasserie style food. They offer a lunch menu for 18 Euros, excellent value, but you have to ask for it, they tend to be hopeful that you will order a la carte. It is only a little bit further... More

There were about 8 of us - business associates - having dinner on a Monday night. The food was really good, but the poor waiter had way too many tables he was responsible for. We were there for a good 2 1/2 hours. Took us 30 minutes to order drinks and that was only after proactively waving down the waiter.... More

Very good food and service in a very nice decor with tiled walls. Classic Belgian and French recipes with very good products.

The food was excellent but the service let them down - it was well over 2 hours for 3 courses and there were long gaps when nothing seemed to happen. It would not have been so bad if they had been coming around to encourage us to buy more wine/beer but even that was lacking. In summary food great, service... More
