All rather hot and hectic. A large party upstairs seemed to be putting a lot of pressure on the staff. Food took a long time to come but it was good when it did.

The waiters are charming, the menu does not change, but Italiano cocktails are as good as ever. If you need a place with a heart, which is frequented by the locals, it is your place.

8 friends from Norway decided to eat lunch at L'Opera, a Nice Place as regards localities and location, by the opera square. But I must say that the Food was quite average, good but no more thatn that. But if you shal only have a beer or a glass of wine, it's a Nice Place. But I had really expected... More

Living in Brussels close to Cafe De L'Opera I have noticed the place and wanted to try it. I did try today. Bad idea. The place was almost empty, but that didn't stop the waiter from being very insisting that a single guest could not have the pleasure of having lunch at one of the 3 available window tables. After... We were passing by the opera n lo! We saw this lovely little Italian restaurant which was so eagerly welcoming us with the dim lights of it's candles, luring us towards it in the chilling weather. The food was really good. But, not to be missed , is the nice man serving it. I am feeling bad for not asking... More

We didn't eat we only drank. It was good fun and lovely themed design serving traditional food and english menus. The beer was good and the atmosphere is fun.

Very welcoming waiter remembered us from previous visit and our choice of drinks. Bread drinks and olives brought to the table while we waited for our meal. Food was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious. We had the table for as long as we wished. A very enjoyable meal and evening.

The café de l'Opera is just next to what is currently a seasonal skating rink, which gives guests seated by the window a view of the skaters (and possibly something to do before or after dinner?). A colleague and I went in on a quiet Wednesday evening, and were immediately greeted and seen to a table. The waiter was warm... More

We were in Brussels for just two nights and went here on our second night. Food was delicious. Servers were well prepared to deal with our English and my tripping over the pronunciation of a Belgian beer. The atmosphere is nice as well. It has a lot of character and is very clean. Upon entering we were directed to seating... More
