We got this tip from a colleague of mine. It's in the historic center and impossible to miss from the market to Manneke Pis. The place looks really nice inside. We were lucky enough to sit outside on a hot summer day. We had some fresh juice and a waffle topped with chocolate sauce. It was delicious but a tad... More

The tea room is very basic inits decor and furnishing, but the food was very nice and the waitress very friendly. We had quiche and crepes between us and both were very good. We spent more on biscuits to take away than on the food we ate in, but they are rather hard to resist!

I was on my way from la grande place to the manneken pis and stopped by as it was recommended. You can see them prepare the waffle downstairs, and either take one to go or sit upstairs to order. Note that they do not have high chairs for baby but staff was nice. I tried the Bruxelles chocolate waffle and... More

Beautiful Belgium waffle with brown sugar, beautiful biscuits!! Thoroughly enjoyed my morning tea here. Service could be friendlier (especially when It was obvious that staff aren't busy while I was there)?

Best Liège waffle I've had in Brussels. (Never been to Liège) My husband has always gravitated towards the stands with all the toppings and usually piles it all on. I convinced him to try one here with nothing on it. He was skeptical but quickly became a convert upon trying one of Dandoy's specialties! We went back several times during... More

Most visitors to Belgium have a lot of gastronomic boxes to tick--frites, beer, chocolates, and of-course waffles. Waffles places are plentiful near the Grand' Place in Brussels, but we followed tripadvisor ratings, and went to the Maison Dondoy Tearoom on Rue Charles Bulz the street next to the entrance to the Grand Palace building. There is also an outlet of... More

This place has great quality waffles unlike all the other waffle joints on the street. They are expensive but very very good. Try a couple of different versions they have to experience the difference in taste.

This place is a must if you're in Brussels as we tried several different waffle places and this one was the best! We arrived right as it opened and there was already a line waiting so we knew it must have a good reputation. I tried the waffle with chocolate and cooked strawberries and it was delicious. My husband and... More
