I highly recommend this restaurant located in the heart of Bois de la Cambre park. You need to take a little ferry to cross a charming lake, home to beautiful birds and fishes. I had a great brunch there, with a lot of choice, from starters to deserts. The food's quality and taste were delightful. The service was smily and... More

Le Chalet Robinson, a real Austrian/Swiss looking chalet, located on a small 'island' in the middle of the Brussels iconic 'Bois de la Cambre', is a favorite if you want to surprise people (because you have to take a small 'ferry' that takes a couple of minutes only to get there) and if you want to enjoy good quality typical... This is a cosy place, the surroundings are fantastic, in the middle of a parc, the venue is located on an island where you need to take a small ferry to cross the water (pond) you need to pay €1 per person. The restaurant is a wood log chalet.. very cosy. You can go there for lunch and dinner but... More

We went for a late afternoon snack. I had the cheese sandwich, served with a very nice salad. My partner ordered the shrimp croquette. The food arrived quickly, but when my partner asked for bread to have with the croquette he was told he would have to wait 7 minutes!!! The waiter then argued with us about how we had... More

It is a very fancy place, you should go through the park and take a little boat to reach there, the prices are ok, the food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

The food is good. The location is fun but less functional. We will be back probably.... it's very nice for business dinner, to lightly for a romantic dinner

It took me a while to get there... when I first heard about this little Island (in the unique Brussels Bulletin) in the Brussels La Cambre Forest, the popular Laiterie/Melkerij (simple popular restaurant) had just burned down. And it took aaaages before it was rebuilt. Now it is back, in a modern style but architacturally reminiscent to the old 'pastoral'... More

The excitement of travelling to this place, which includes a small lake ride on a ferry, was probably the best part of the dinner. In the night, especially early spring the area looks sublime, with the lake, trees, discreet lights. And then we walked in. The smell of fresh paint was very distinct. Now, some may like the renewal of... More

Wonderful landscape as the restaurant is on a tiny island on an small artificial lake in a forest inside Brussels, a wonderful setting for a restaurant, it was raining but at sunny days it must be so nice. You join the restaurant with a private boat (1 euros both way for 2 minutes). The staff was friendly and efficient. I... More

A friend brought me here for an afternoon coffee and snack when I was visiting Brussels. I had been to the Boise several times to take a walk or quick run but had never seen the restaurant before. It's a nice quiet spot with a serene view of the lake and the park. The little shuttle ride across the lake... More
