Great stop for lunch on a cold Saturday. The fish soup and the cod in beurre blanc were excellent and so was the Pouilly-Fume recommended by our waiter. We could have done without the country radio station playing, however.

My husband and I ate here during our last night in Brussels on holiday vacation. We walked down to the Fish Market area and stumbled across this gem. We are so grateful they were able to seat us because the restaurant is highly acclaimed and we had no reservations. We were welcomed and seated quickly. The wait staff was very... More

We went to this seafood restaurant as a group of four friends on New Years Eve at lunch time. There was an oyster bar outside catering for passers by from the winter market. That was our main attraction. We were greeted by the waiter and got the only free table at the front of the room beside the window. It... More

This is my Nth time at the Huitriere and this was one of the best experiences. My wife and I went for two seafood platters, one with more shellfish and the other with more crustaceans, and my wife and I shared. Quantity and quality were very good, even exceptional. Friendly and professional service. A bottle of superb Baron L from... More

We had the menu on offer and the food was exceptional. The personal attention of the manager / owner was evident and he personally visited each table. Wine selection is large but they are eager to make suggestions.

We visited this location on dec 11th without reservation and christmas market in front. The quality / price / location we really can't complain on the quality of the dishes (touristic place). But the service was really very slow due to the crowd. It would have been better if the owner refused some people without reservation. The waiter did his... More

We arrived early, like 7:00 P.M., and got seated w/out a reservation. The Christmas market was happening just outside the door, too. The service was good; the food was good; and, yes, there was a tank full of lobsters between the kitchen and our table, and as the restaurant filled up, lobster seemed to be the meal of choice. The... More

We decide to give this place a try as we saw a tempting menu on the black board outside for a set price of €25 as we wandered away from the Christmas market. No pressure to enter but a warm welcome. Lovely meal. Mussels in a tomato sauce or shrimp croquettes to start. I had half a lobster and saw... More
