I stumbled upon this one when looking for somewhere to have dinner. The place I was meant to go to was fully booked out. Simple. Drinkable house red and modest menu. Tasty. Chef knows his stuff and plates well, food is simply delicious. Real. This is a place where people come with their dogs - need I say more ?... More

Really enjoyed our classic Belgian dishes - 'Carbonnade' and 'Stoemp'. Very good steak too. Interesting draught beers available. Staff were very attentive and friendly, made for a very convivial atmosphere.

Nice old fashion decor. Quaint but the prix fixe menu for lunch was very disappointed. A few shop vegetable together with no much dressing and a too soft toast on the side. Two meat boulettes that were ok with croquettes that did not taste home made. Disappointing

We arrived with a group of eight. Seven of us ordered a meal, one of us had already eaten and only wanted to have a drink. The manager told us that this was not possible and that she had to order something from the menu. We tried to reason with him (7 + 1 is better than no customers at... More

I had dinner with a native Brussels colleague, who let me know that this is a good example of classic Belgium food. He had their beef stew and I had the rabbit, something you don't see in the states. It was served with a unique sauce featuring plums/prunes. Sounds strange, I know, but was delicious. The staff was also attentive... More

We found this place by chance on our first evening in Brussels, and decided it looked like it would have authentic Belgian cuisine and we weren't wrong. The food was fabulous (with generous portion sizes) great beers and wines, and really friendly service from the owner of the place. Would definitely come back here on my next trip to Brussels.

This restaurant is equipped with café tables from the last century. A long bench along the wall with mirrors on the walls create a cosy atmosphere. The House serves traditional and regional dishes, as well as special Belgian beers. The service is friendly and fast. Reservation is recommended.

Having lived in the area 9 years ago we went back for a spot of reminiscing. Whilst the decor hadn't changed much the prices certainly had. Our steak was reasonably priced but the accompanying sauce was €4 for a tiny little pot that to be honest, didn't taste of very much (I had Roquefort). A bottle of Westmalle Triple was... More

Service fine, but frites as hard as stone and espresso without crema... ambient is fine, if you look for culinaric delights, look for some other place.
