One can discuss why this is the only Japanese restaurant in Belgium with a Michelin star, whereas there is at least another one who would deserve it as well. Fact is that you really get, well presented, delicious dishes, and that alone was worth the star. The menu is pretty restricted and so we went for the « season »... More

We are having meals (lunch or supper) at Kamo's for more than 10 years now and the quality of the food has always been at top level. Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Brussels. Prices have risen after it got its first Michelin star but still we recommend the place for everyone who wants to discover something new and unusual... More

This rstaurant has a great reputation, we went for Friday dinner. The menu has limited choice, 4 or 5 or 6 course meal. The food was good, very fresh, but the 5 course meal was not an impressive eating experience. Japanese with European influence, good, but not excelling in anything. The friendliness of the staff and their promptness to any... More

I don't care about spending money with food but I do care about BAD food. Every city In the world I visit I like to go to a new japanese restaurant. First of all, if you like sushi AVOID this restaurant, there is no sushi a lá carte, you can only get sushi(5 pieces) if you order the most extpensive... More

Now I understand why we've never been able to "pop in" and a few days notice is not enough time to secure a reservation. The decor is lovely, minimalistic yet warm. The small touches are lovely as well - I had a clutch with me and was given a small basket to place it in so it would not rest... More

My favorite japanese restaurant in Brussels. If you're alone or just 2 it's nice to eat sitting at the bar, just in front of the chefs cooking !

The place can be properly evaluated by people after 40 or by their children if they are jet set. Unfortunately, we belong to neither the first, nor the second group. Otherwise, paying 75€ and trying 5 kinds of fish not even of a size of half a pinky would be extremely pricy. To reach the right balance of price-quality I... More

Very few Japanese restaurants in Europe offer Toro on their menu, you will be able to try some in Kamo though not the best Toro. All food here are seriously prepared with very nice decoration. The lunch menu here is very affordable. Don't forget to taste some ice-cream here, super tasty 😊

Quiet, contemporary, unrushed atmosphere, dainty and tasty food. Take the menu. And be sure to book in advance.

Kamo offers modern Japanese food, a beautiful interior dressed in light wood and great service. The tasting menu is an experience worth every Euro and takes you on a journey much further than Japan. Everything during my visit was excellent.
