This small place is a gem in Brussels. As per advised by other reviewers, we booked way in advance as we were a group of 11 people. We were the first ones to arrive upon opening time for dinner and the place was quite and a bit small. Don't be deterred by the small space though. The food is authentic... More

Already visisted several times at noon and in teh evening. Small place, better to book upfront. Daily fresh food, low price. No desserts. One of the best resto's in town.

A friend took me here upon recommendation of his Japanese wife. The place doesn't look like much: it's small, bright, and the overall feel is rather modest. Food however was absolutely fabulous!!! From rolls to oyster dumplings to beef. Nothing extravagant in terms of presentation or flavor combinations, but simply well-cooked quality produce. Most memorable: fatty tuna sashimi! A bit... The food is simply good and authentic - service is simply good ! Hidden between the Quai aux Briques posh lobster and fish restaurants, you need to look for this place - once found, you will remember it. Go and taste a typical, authentic japanese dish and you will return, guaranteed !

Reception at this place is only attitude and rudeness. We had booked a table and upon arrival the place was empty. The waiter was standing in the doorway and would not let us pass before giving him our name even though the place was totally YES you read correctly EMPTY. He then insisted on giving us a table in the... More

The Japanese notices plastered to the windows make the restaurant hard to spot, but add to the authentically Japanese feel. That extends to the compact interior as well. The sushi is good quality, and the tempura udon fantastic. The prices are a tad high, but the serving sizes weren't bad. As mentioned by others, the waiter is not terribly warm,... More

Excellent and one of my fav Japanesse restaurants in Brussels. Sushi and sashimi are excellent. Love the aubergine miso and agedashi tofu. Reservation is a must since the restauran is so tiny. Been to this restaurant many times, though I dont bother with the rudeness of the only waiter at this restaurant, I wish he could be a bit nicer.

The food is also varied, goes way beyond sushi and sashimi (but the sushi is the best ). The place is tiny so you need to book in advance, and ask the chef for his backed aubergine miso bake. Great selection sake as well.
