At lot of places in Rotterdam claims to be wine bars, this place is the is however a real wine bar. Very good, interesting and fun wine list with a lot of wines by the glass. Food was also very good as you would expect from a place with a genuine interest in wine. Well worth a visit if you... More

We had some drinks here on the corner terrace, before our reservations for dinner at another place started and before it started to rain. The terrace is nice and in a busy street, with wooden furniture. Friendly staff. Many (good) wines on the menu to choose from and the waiter knew the menu. We also saw many good bites (nut... More

Nice bar and small terrace when the weather is nice. We had a glass of white wine while seated at the window. Cosy bar for a drink after an afternoon shopping!

My wife and I visited. Food was just very bad. A burger completely raw on the inside. "Calf rib eye" mediocre thin cuts of meet with boiled artichokes and mayo(!), tasteless, served already cold. "Mediterranean vegetables" were boiled peppers, eggplants and - again - artichokes, all just boiled and completely tasteless (no spices). Creme brûlée served ice cold, clearly from... More

We wanted a easonable Dutch or European restaurant near downtown Rotterdam for the last dinner of our vacation. But the top 50 choices in TripAdvisor were all franchises, international, expensive or required reservations! My wife's guidebook suggested a restaurant called Amuse at this location , on the west edge of downtown but we could not find it in TripAdvisor or... More

Cozy place. Wines from both the old and new wine countries, ranging from 4 to 8 euro per glass. Make sure you take the plate du chef if you want a little snack. Location is only 10 minutes from the the central station and just 5 from the downtown Lijnbaan shopping area. So l'Ouest is perfect for some in-between-shopping chilling.

One of my favourite spots in Rotterdam. In the middele of the centre watching the sun go down... Very nice atmosphere (inside and outside), excellent wines and a great menu. Feels like a short vacation everytime for me :-)

Brilliant Bar, beautifully decorated, delicious wine, endearing atmosphere. A perfect way to spend an evening. Really a fabulous experience. Hoping that they might open a sister - company in Scotland. They could call it le-really-nord!

The food is good and the wine as well. Like the mini-burger and the ham. The seating outside the restaurant is good coz facing a grass tramway.

L'Ouest is our first choice for a relaxed late meal with wine on friday evenings. Its a great place to hang out with the girls or your wine loving friends. No reservations needed for the high benches. Its cozy and friendly and the staff really knows the menu. We have been there many times and the white wine menu is... More
