The café is on a great location. We have only had drinks there so can't say much more of it. But on a summer day spending some time on the terrace is great.

Staal is located in the very heart of Rotterdam near the Town Hall. Staff is not very attentive. The restless flickering of the nearby billboards prevents you to enjoy your dinner. The good was not bad and not very good.

Located in the city center under the World Trade Center with having a nice terrace. Service depends on how busy it is. Still, when nearby, usually the place I visit for a drink ...

Staal is a very popular place for lunch among (especially) the urban professionals. I have lunch here atleast once a month. The place has a solid menu at decent prices and one of the best locations for enjoying the sun. Staal boasts a large outdoor seating area, and 2 separate indoor areas. Staal (apparently) also serves dinner and is a... More

This is situated in the world trade centre and calls itself a brasserie, personally I think it's more cafe in brasserie. The wine list and menu is very limited. The smoked salmon salad wasn't bad value at €9, but the garnalien salad at €16 was very overpriced. The interior was uninspiring and the service indifferent.

This is your typical Dutch bar, only to be seen but not much substance in the menu or service. The dry white wine was pretty disgusting and the table outside were not cleaned or catered to properly. They have an extensive borrel menu on their website but it did not show when we went, only 5 typical dutch appetizer plates available,... More

Staal is becoming an iconic lunch spot in Rotterdam. Restaurant is based at lower ground floors of Rotterdam WTC, centrally located in city centre. Staff generally attentive and responsive. Menu card has the usual Dutch classic like omelettes, dutch croquettes with bread, and burger with fries. My preferred choice is the salad goat cheese, which is a meal in itself Large... More

Very nice setting inside the World Trade Center, dined here twice in the evening, on each occasion the restaurant was relatively quiet. I believe at lunch times it can get hectically busy. Standard menu comprising fish, steaks and Italian style dishes, There is an English menu as well but the translations can be dubious, "Wild Hare" did not mean hare... More

I like the food, the atmosphere, service with a smile, very clean...only issue not so many variety in the menu. If something is wrong with the food they are not very willing to solve(one occasion, the last one) this but furter perfect for us!
