8 courses without a menu. Sit down, relax, trust the cook and sommelier, you will enjoy. The food quality deserves a star, whilst the ambience is very cosy like in a living room. The wine selection (also 8 courses) is excellent. I visit this restaurant frequently and it keeps surprising and entertaining me. Staff is very friendly and service minded.... More

What a nice restaurant! Wonderful, special food... actually indescribable... looking great and tastes even better. Every entree a new surprise. No menu... reservation necessary to tell if you're allergic to some food or if you're vegetarian. Take an evening off, relax and enjoy!!

Situated in a lovely old house in pretty Delfshaven, this intimate restaurant is located at the rear of a wine merchants / bar. It offers an 8-course, no-choice menu (with an optional wine flight) based on seasonal ingredients and what's good in the local market gardens. Highlight plates included new season herring with artichoke and apple gel; carpaccio of smoked... More

Not easy to find but the restaurant is definitely worth visiting. It is a small restaurant, about 35 seats, and together with the trendy homy interior and excellent food and wine it gives a nice experience. 8 small delicious courses together with 8 well selected (half 🙃) glasses of wine are sometimes mentioned as inadequate but that's a wrong chosen... This was our first time in this cosy small restaurant. It is housed in one of the centuries old building of old Delfshaven that has a quaint layout with most tables on a split level. They serve a 8 course surprise menu (35euro pp) that was excellent tasting and just perfectly proportioned. They cattered for our dietary wishes perfectly. Next... More

We dine here regularly. Fritschy is situated in Delfshaven which is an old part of Rotterdam that survived both WW II and the sledgehammer of building companies after WW II. It is small so make sure you make a reservation. Most tables are on the first floor. There is no written menu; all guests eat the same, lovely Spanish food,... More
