This was our first time African food. We arrived wuite early, and the restaurant was quite empty. Very friendly staff. The food was very nice, we tried many different dishes. Nice exotic atmosphere. The African beers, with coconut or mango flavor, are not as interesting as they sound. Overall a very nice experience. Recommended.

Knew of this place for quite some time and meant to go, but never got round to it. And what a shame, ' cause now we did and very nice it was too. Place has a lot of atmosphere, the young lady serving was very friendly and helpful and the food certainly different and very tasty, accompanied by a nice... More

We had a terrible experience- got terrible service ( Retaurant is understaffed) and 5 of us got food poisoning out of 7. We will never go back! The restaurant was chaotic- took ages to get drinks, cutlery when asked, wrong food order received for one person and then the food came cold. Our ingera came cold out of a fridge-... More

Try the dorade - grilled fish with salad and vegetables. The crazy beers they have (flavored) are served in coconut shells! Friendly staff, great food.

The food is outstanding! And the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. If you don't mind eating without silverware you're in for a real treat!!!

This was my first time eating African food and I had no idea what to expect. I was positively surprised how delicious the food was. The portions were huge, service good and atmosphere lovely. I would definitely go here again!

I've been a regular customer at this restaurant for a long time and the first time I visited I ordered Kitfo leb leb (the meat is cooked lightly rare). The Ethiopian butter they use in this meal is simply amazing (niter kibbeh). Hence I typically order the same meal every time I visit. The injeras are not authentic as some... More

Enjoyed a meal here. Tried the special €16.50 meal (tues-Thursday) which was massive. Really able to get into the African way of enjoying food. Ate with an African pancake instead of cutlery which was different. Huge portions. Great value and certainly worth a visit.

Festively decorated restaurant run by Eritrean owner and Ethiopian staff.Tasteful East and West African dishes with explanation on menu. Lots of stews, ostrich beef and crocodile skewers. All served with enjera pancakes which also serve as fork or spoon. African fruit beers served in an calabash. We all enjoyed it!

nice place... simple decor.. But the injera is not authentic and tasted like wheat flour pancakes not the original injera and also the stew was mixed with soft and hard chewy meat. ( it was take away) which gave me reason to believe two same stews cooked at different intervals were mixed in one dish/ maybe it was almost finished.... More
