Normally my wife and I are going for a simple dinner. Just for one hour or max two hours. But now we wanted to go to a real good restaurant of which we heard so many good stories....so our choice was this time Matties. And...More

We had a bottle of wine, starter, main course and one dessert as my partner was full. We paid 95 euros. I reckon it was worth it. We were in at 7.30 when the restaurant was nearly full inside. 4 staff on duty. Nothing pretentious,...More
Going out for a nice dinner? We had a bit of a disappointing experience. Too crowded, too loud, under staffed. The menu shows a nice variety but they charge a lot for what is being offered. Does the cook know what he's doing? The one...More
If your pleasure for dinner is a small (12 ish tables) quiet restaurant, canal-side with stacks of great ambience and gentle jazz tracks, then this is for you. Old Delft at its best with great international dishes and a friendly owner. A wonderful evening, thank...More

Better than average for Delft, sufficient, tasty dishes, but not very exciting. Good wines, pleasant waiter. My main problem was the rather old fashioned home type of decoration. But if you like a quiet, good meal in Delft, it is certainly a good option.
Great cozy atmosphere, great food: yummy fresh fish salad, and great ham with fruit, (shrimp cocktail sauce was not to my taste), succulent salmon, great desserts.
