Came here because a friend wanted to try the pasta made in parmigiana bowl. It was amazing and will be my dinner choice next time I go after I had a bite of hers. Really recommend this pasta restaurant to those who have gluten, fish or peanut allergies. The whole menu has an easy key to determine if the dish... More

If you're looking for a good, more up market, Italian restaurant in Utrecht then this is your place to go. Definitely not a tourist trap (as previous posts have referenced). Good wait staff and good Italian food.

Initially it took some time to find as it was below the main footpath, but for a first time visit to Utrecht this is a special way to enjoy the city's canals. The restaurant has a romantic feel as it is somewhat 'cave-like' and light with candles/dim lighting. We were seated at a table at the front close to the... More

This place had been suggested several times by friends. Fortunately we had booked a table for this Saturday night. All tables were booked when we came in, a good sign. Wintertime so dinner inside. A warm welcome. Italian atmosphere. We ordered 3 different entrees, 3 different main courses and 3 different desserts. All dished were Italian and were good, excellent... More

We reserved a nice romantic table outside, since it was warm weather. When arriving no table was reserved. Luckily other people already left so,there was a table available outside. When receiving the menu it was dirty and there was still some parts of a prawn on top of the cover. It took some time for the waiters to "warm up"... More

The conversion of an old canal side building has been done very well to give a nice romantic ambiance. Sadly the service and food does not live up to the prices. We waited so long for our first course that a waiter brought more bread and olives. Once our starters finally arrived the waiter asked if we would like our... More

If you are looking for true Italian cooking from an acclaimed Piedmontese chef, then look no further. The restaurant is on the canal (level lower than the street) not far from the central station and is located in one of the city's old brick warehouses. Very romantic. Reasonably priced wine list and many excellent dishes. The risotto with porcini was... More

Came here for dinner with Wife and Baby while away on a work trip. Nice choice of dishes there were several choice I wanted. Reasonable cost/value - cost 90eur for 2 with wine. Old storage bunkers from when the canals were used fro Shipping so nice internal design and atmosphere Wifi code given which helps keep child amused for dinner.... More

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything I had, tasted amazing. I had a problem with the service, though. The staff was totally overwhelmed and they brought all of their stress into the dining room. I never felt so stressed just sitting in a restaurant before. We waited more than an hour for the appetizers to arrive, and when they did,... More

Made a booking through TripAdvisor which was accepted and confirmed, found the right address and there was nothing there! No one in a local bar had heard of it, a complete mystery... Went instead to LaGrotta just down the road which was very nice. Strange!
