We went in during luncheon time, with small child. Only had a toasted sandwich and a original Dutch pea-soup (erwtensoep), completed with some coffee. And I have to conclude that the soup was excellent, nice taste with good meat and sausage. They also serve real Lunches and dinners, nice variety of beers, drafts, and wine card. Location is at the... More

We went with the family to this "brasserie". Cosy environment, fair food, the soups are definitely great. The Cathrien specialty however offers standard fishes prepared in a standard way for a very high price (31€).

Popped in for lunch on a day trip to Volendam. Great food and helpful staff. Although it was raining heavily outside and the place was buzzing as customers came in to keep dry service was excellent. The waitresses managed to keep on top of things and the food was plentiful and tasty. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

In need if a drink and some food we were very fortunate to locat this perfect location. Located in the corner of the marina close to Marken Express is this quiet spot. The inside was nicely decorated, perhaps even described as fancy. We sat outside and watched the thunder and lightening show while enjoying a beer and the fish soup;... More

Great Eats along with the view. Had the Pasta with Meatballs, it was Great! Went light on the drinks and it also the best. The staff was also awesome. Busy place so try and get there before the crowd, since most of the Tour groups come by. But lots to do and see around the area and of course lots... More

We chose here for lunch after walking the waterfront on our day trip from Amsterdam as we thought it was the best location watching the ferries as well as the passers by. We were fortunate and got a window seat. Large servings (plenty to eat one course was sufficient). My husband had the Cod "beautiful" he said. I had three... More

Efficient and friendly service, small dishes. The food is reasonable, nothing more. Suitable for tourists who want to drink coffee \ beer at the marina. To eat there, only if there is no other place and you're really starving.

My first time to volendam. I walked along and passed so many restaurants, cafes, coffee shop and many souvenir shops. We chose this place among others. It has great view, good place to sit and enjoy the beer.

I was with my 12 year old son at around 20.00 on a Sunday night on a bank holiday weekend away from the u.k. ( easter) and we entered unbooked and enquired about a table and meal. From then on staff customer service, surroundings. Quality of food and drink were without fault. Highly recommend and the seafood platter is memorable... More
