The food was delicious! Very friendly & social service. I would definitely recommend this place if you are an easy-going person, definitely not if you are a strict and some what uptight person. For example, we made reservations, but we had to wait for 20 minutes. During the waiting we got a free glass of prosecco and we had the... More

If you find yourself in Lisse, then check out this restuarant. You had better book at the weekends because it is quite small. The image is one of a country kitchen with unmatched plain wood tables of various sizes and shapes. The menu is minimalist, essentially fish or meat - whatever the chef has decided to cook but with some... More

Do not look for a menu here, because there isn't one! The cook prepares a 3-course meal based on what's freshly available at the time. Our starter was a plate with different (lots!) of antipasti, which were all delicious. The second course consisted of three different kinds of pasta. For the third course we were offered the choice of fish,... More

We made reservations some days prior to our visit. The two of us were sat at a non standard table for four, probably normally used by staff. It was the only table left as the place was crammed. No matter, because the atmosphere was excellent - we were watched over by a big cracked image of a young Sophia Loren... More

The hospitality and food is wonderful. The décor is kitsch, and has the rustic feel, but is comfortable and warm. We were here as a group, and spent four hours without noticing it, that says a lot about the comfort level. The menu is not fixed, and its about tailor making the dishes, which is lovely, We had vegetarians in... More

this is a small and cosi restaurant...where all the furniture are not the same, the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. the service is friendly and the food excellent; there is no card, you will eat what the chef found in the local market. never disappointed when I go there! the wine card is great...I found Italian reds I never experienced... Having lived without an authentic Italian restaurant in "de Bollenstreek" for 9 years we were ecstatic to hear the originator of Fiorini is back in this unassuming spot and place. Tested and passed. Don't go for white linen & delicate amuse bouche or top class wines. Do, however go for friendly ambience and truly authentic, rustic food. A step too... More

Even without the parrot Garibaldi, this is a wonderful place, warm and a lot of candles. Very good, small menu but that makes the choosing a lot easier for meat, fish and vegetarian food. Prepared under your nose are cold and warm Italian entrées or appetizers. You and the guests will be served several shared plates.
