Good service and decent ambiente, food is very good and recommendable, standard Indonesian Rice Tafel, nothing too exotic. A bit pricy though
Born in Indonesia we ate more rice dishes at home than traditional Dutch potatoes so I think my parents taught me to recognize the real thing ... and Flamboyant is the real thing. We had the rice table menu. Tasty chicken soup (Soto Ajam), delicious rice table and "spekkoek". The gado gado, sajoer boontjes, chicken chili, beef and sate were... More
Who doesn't like sweet, spicy peanut sauce? Very good gado-gado even if the carrots are not cooked and there was no toasted tempeh and these people don't know that hard boiled eggs and not vegetarian.
For many years a wellknown Indonesian restaurant which serves genuine Indonesian food. The best in Haarlem. Friendly service. Try a so called RICE TABLE fabulous

Being Indonesian "virgins" we chose the rijstafel (a varied selection of vegetarian and meat dishes). All very tasty! Service was particularly attentive. It wasn't the cheapest meal we've ever had... But it was... More
The restaurant looks very inviting from the outside, we had a lovely welcome from the waiter as we entered and the service was faultless from beginning to end. It's nice the restaurant had an English menu, the selection of main courses isn't massive but more than enough, we were wondering what to have when we saw the "all you can... More
