July 6 2016 8:45PM We accidentaly stepped in the wrong shabu shabu and it was great. Me and my friend was ment to eat at the shabu shabu near Rembrantsplain but ended up in this chain. The waiter named Jason and Lorraine is very helpful, they help us with our orders and check us from time to time see if... More

With all the eat-all-you-can chains everything, there are much better options. Sushi rice tasted dry, fish was not tender. Teriyaki dishes were too greasy and much too salty. Drinks are pretty expensive.

There are not many sushi places in Haarlem and this one was closest to us so we decided to give it a try. They had a very efficient ordering system using ipads and it was well-decorated with pillows hung on the walls. The sushi took a while to come even though it wasn't that busy and when it came we... Shabu Shabu is kind of like that place in town you go out to dinner at, but only because you don't know what else is available. It's good food but slightly overpriced and isn't very personal or memorable overall. I think we paid something like €90 for dinner for two including drinks. The buffet alone cost €25 per person and... More

We arrived at 5:30 for a snack. From 4-6, they only have "all you can eat" for $27.50, which was more than we wanted. They had us wait until 6 before they would take our ala carte order. Food was quite good though.

Shaba Shabu is a sort of "all you can eat" sushi place. However when you see the final bill it is still quit expensive and the quality is very poor.

The whole family just loves going to Shabu Shabu. There's something for everyone. Food is amazing, service quick and the ordering via the iPad ensures everyone gets exactly what they want, whenever they want it. Surprisingly quiet at lunch time. Can highly recommend.

Hortusplein, heart of Haarlem. It a sushi palace. The most of Japanese restaurant not so good, but this average. And all you can eat for a really decent price.

Conveniently located in the center of Haarlem. Love that you use a tablet to place your order. The sushi is average and the variety is somewhat limited (but this is common in the Netherlands). I tried the Kimchi Goza soup and could not finish it as it was not to my taste (the flavour and smell was not appealing to... More

Worst thing is that many items are not with fresh fish but with tuna/salmon spread - just awful! The menu is quite limited as it is but then the surprise of finding this spread/paste thing is not very pleasant. The beef rolls also seem to be made with minced meat - I guess? Either way, it's tiny pieces of something... More
