Great place to have some drinks or food. The menu offers affordable dishes. Hospitable friendly staff. Cosy interior. We came in for drinks, but, tempted by the atmosphere and menu on the wall ordered some food as well.

A real gem of a place - welcoming, cosy atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. Food was absolutely delicious; it was cooked to perfection and had a real home made feel about it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Came for a late-ish glass of wine - was a quiet evening, lovely atmosphere and decor, nice service, good wine, good prices! Great spot for looking out at the pretty streets - imagine in the summer the outside area must get very busy and fun!

Had some lunch here last week, a club sanwhich with smoked chicken and avocado and some chips. The Sandwhich was delicious and well prepped, only the toast was a bit hard... (Old bread maybe?). The cafe is located on the canal belt, right in the...More

In early lunch time, fairly quiet, helpful man serving gave good advice/information on the various Dutch beers. Tried two different dark (bok) beers along with a goats cheese salad. The beers were good, but fairly expensive for small (330ml) glasses but the salad was very...More

We have chose that cafe because it looks very authentic and promising but we had to wait to be served for pretty long time and it seems that the staff just do not pay much attention on people who are waiting at the empty tables....More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
