Really enjoyed our meal here last night. Lovely friendly waitress, fast and efficient service. The food was so tasty too. We had tacos which were great. Excellent!

Alfonsos is a nice restaurant located in the old city of Amsterdam. As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting and a nice Mexican atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth watering dishes, for example delicious faijtas and chimichanga. The food was fresh and was served quickly. Also the people serving you were polite.... More

The food was great, nice portions not too big or too small. The service was fast and friendly. When we're in the neighborhood we'll definitely eat here again.

A couple of major malfunctions, three of the beers on the list were out, the owner was not capable of making a margarita (at a Mexican restaurant!) The food was packaged and prepared, high prices for just okay quality. Good things that happened: the young woman server did a good job being attentive, the food was hot and people were... More

Stopped by as we had a hankering for Mexican food after a week in Europe. The food was below average and service ok. Will not come back.

Had a wonderful meal here on our city break to Amsterdam. A nice little find on a street I'd never walked down before, despite visiting the city on several occasions. Really generous portions. Im sad to say I struggled to put much of a dent in my food as I was just too tired after a day at the zoo,... More

We ordered a small expensive pitcher of margaritas and it seems they forgot the lime and then coated the glass with sugar when we asked for salt. In my lifetime of drinking margaritas, these were absolutely the worst. The fajitas had nice taste but were thick strips (long chunks) of tough Argentine beef with lots of gristle. The chimichanga was... More
