My boyfriend and i had an amazing breakfast in this sweet little Café. The menu offered a lot of deliciousness and even some good vegan options. Definitely worth trying!

Stopped off here for a snack and I got a nutella and whipped cream crepe and yummy! I loved it, although they generally make me feel sicky haha. The lady that served us was lovely also and I would 100% go back and maybe for more than just a crepe!

If we collected all the sweet things that we love to eat, and should not really eat, under one counter, this would be the shop! The iced and fruit waffles were a piggy's delight. Well worth the short walk to find this place,

Everything you can ask for! Vegan alternatives as well as ham and eggs, everything homemade. You can actually see your food beeing prepared since you almost sit in the kitchen. Love the friendly, familiar atmosphere. Not far from the railway station so it was great having a nice breakfast before going to the airport. Unfortunately we discovered this place our... More

We had a delicious breakfast before to leave the city. Yogurts are prepared with curiosity and fantasy. Apricot pies, handmade by the owner, are very testing. Perfect for a short or long break during the visit of Amsterdam.

I went to this bakery on a Saturday morning and had a brunch combination which included a croissant, bread, quiche, cake and an egg all with coffee and a fresh orange juice. Everything tasted delicious and was homemade, it was good value for money and I liked the decor as well.

Thank Barbara G

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
