Wow, this is really spectacular vegetarian cuisine and such a relaxed and homey atmosphere in a fairly nondescript neighborhood about a 10 minute walk or less from the Van Gogh museum. This is a must for anyone looking for great food. We loved this food.

What a thrill to find a fully vegetarian restaurant! As a vegetarian I cannot describe how lovely it is to chose anything on the menu!! This tiny place mostly serves take-away but there is a communal table to eat within. The polenta pie and butter beans are phenomenal. My meat-eating partner was also quite satisfied by his meal here. Do... More

Being a vegetarian or not you will not regret it! I tried almost everything they had available and each plate was special in its own way. It's a small place with just two tables to enjoy your meal there, (perfect for take aways) however there's a saying in arabic 'a small place can host a thousand lover' which goes perfectly... More

I had been following this place on Instagram for a while being an intrigued veggie with an upcoming visit to Amsterdam and was so so glad I fit it into our trip. The lady who owns it is so sweet and her cooking skills are obviously second to none! I had the veggie lasagne with pumpkin spiced chickpeas and brussels... More

It was like when i'm at home and i wait while my mom is cooking, except for the fact that the chef of Olive and Cookie and former superstar of the Red Star Belgrade knows how to cook. And nicely.

Came here as a part of the "Eating Amsterdam" food tour and it was probably my favorite stop on the Twilight de Pijp tour. Our hostess was incredibly sweet and fun. The food was insanely good - especially the polenta, wow. Everything was vegetarian and bursting with flavor. Wish we had the time to come back on our own post-tour.... More

Found this restaurant using TripAdvisor. It's a small restaurant. The lovely owners explained everything on the menu and helped making a choice. I really enjoyed all the flavours. I woud really recommend this place, to everybody...not just the vegetarians among us.

Little by little , I am becoming more vegetarian. Being again in Amsterdam, I tried to find a restaurant to fulfill this need. and I found in Olive & Cookie. The food is wonderfully delicious and well confectioned. The owner is a lovely lady and a wonderful cook. And the ambience (which is a important part of the overall experience)... More

As an aspirant non animal meat eater, I aim to increase my vegetarian repertoire. A vegetarian friend took me to Olive and Cookie, and I had a lovely vegetarian meal, the owner was warm, engaged and clearly on a mission to make the world a better place with her food...
