Amazing, amazing, amazing. The seafood bar is a place you cannot miss if in Amsterdam. For starters i went for Calamari and my partner went for the Sashimi. O. M. G I died and went to food heaven. The calamari was so delicious, soft, well seasoned and surrounded by the most beautiful batter. The Sashimi was so fresh and literally melted... More

I had lunch in this nice and cosmopolitan bar with my girlfriend in the Amsterdam Museum area. Service was great and the food simply excellent. First choice fish served in the right way from nice and friendly staff. Wine was good and the bill fair. That's all we need and that's way we'll be back.

Their food is amazing and fresh, I ordered the Zeebaars, it was great and love their lobster soup. The presentations were beautiful. They placed their fresh fishes, lobsters and shelf fishes on a counter so we can choose. They were very busy and took us a while to get the table and food. Make sure you make a reservation beforehand.... More

Didn't book, but managed to get a seat at a high table on a Thursday night. Food was fabulous. We started by sharing the Razor Clams - delicious! Followed by the Deluxe Platter, which was great quality, lots of variety and plentiful - we couldn't quite finish it all! Accompanying wine was crisp and very complementary to the meal. Staff... We go here overtime we go to Amsterdam, which is a few times a year - it is firmly on the list. Infant I think if I had one afternoon in Amsterdam it would be my first destination! The Seafood platter is a luxury, but it is second to none. A fabulous selection of different shellfish & crustaceans, with the... More

To start with, we we found a good table at short notice. There is so much to choose from on the menu, my wife opted for Swordfish and I chose half grilled Lobster. After that it went downhill; when we asked about the Swordfish, can we see what texture is like, the waiter asked the cook who slapped a raw... More

This restaurant was the best restaurant that we sampled in Amsterdam, the staff were friendly and attentive, the decor was fresh, clean & inviting. The food was beautifully presented & cooked to perfection. Well done.

In a city full of steaks, this restaurant is a lovely gem! The atmosphere is super cool and the service is good. In my opinion the food was superb. We were a group of three and had a sea plateau and potatoes as a side dish. It was more than enough for all of us. Go there but only if... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
