We reserved a dinner for 3 at this restaurant after seeing the stellar reviews. The small menu also seemed promising as focused restaurants seem to produce good results. In the end we were somewhat underwhelmed by the meal. Two of us ordered the Cote de Boeuf and another ordered the Leg of Lamb for mains. The beef was under seasoned... More

This is a very popular, busy, family run restaurant in Amsterdams suburbs so you need to book, we were very lucky to get a table. We started with octpus and terrine followed by a chateaubriand and a ribeye washed down with a bottles of their house Morgan. All excellent and a great dining experiece with efficient friendly service

Lovely little restaurant. Very busy, no empty tables. Not enough staff which resulted in us waiting over half an hour to get our drinks. Food for me was not so good, steak was tough as old boots but friends enjoyed their meals. Staff all really friendly however due to shortage of staff and restaurant being really busy, drinks were slow,... More

The octopus/oyster appetizer was delicious, the chateaubriand and ribeye were perfect, the Primitivo wine was a great fit, and the deserts were also very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the place itself had a nice, cozy atmosphere. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

Small restaurant ran by a young and friendly staff! Not many dishes of choice but lamb and veal plates are overwhelming!

We've been here during the ISE and it was not that easy to get a table and so the restaurant was indeed very crowded. The menu is limited which is good especially when you have foreign customers with you and don't need to translate for hours...😂 However, we had starters (roasted porc) and as main dish we've chosen Côte de... Both of us had the steak which was very good, service was friendly and the restaurant itself was small but cosy. It was full when we went so a good atmosphere. We had pre booked which is strongly advisable

We visited brasserie sent on a trip advisor recommendation as it was chateaubriand that we were after for a special bday meal. My partner booked online and we turned up on a busy Sunday evening to a lovely cosy and quaint restaurant. We were greeted warmly and provided with menus. We were provided with olives and chose a lovely bottle... More

Really slow service, but in retrospect, everywhere was in Amsterdam...?! We had to ask for drinks about 3 times. The food was good all round. We had the Cote de Beuf to share - one well done, and one medium rare. The meat was a little tough well done so if you can bear it red, then get it cooked... More

This is a warm cosy restaurant perfect for small groups of friends or a romantic date. If sitting at the right place you will be able to see some of the action in the kitchen which was fascinating. Starters for us was goose tarine which came with apricots and a slab of salad. Overall if I had to rate it... More
