Seriously good lunch. Soup, a mini quiche, a salad and a drink for less than 12€; friendly staff, nice place in a nice area.

We had a delicious breakfast. I had the banana and honey pancake and mint tea, my husband had the American breakfast which he said was perfect and a glass of fresh orange juice. Look out for the cat in the window (which fortunately went unnoticed...More

Very nice and warm place. The place was full when we arrived but we decided to wait for a table. It was well worth the wait every single dish we ordered was really good

We shared five different plates, which was more than enough. Each dish was perfectly planned and executed.

We were recommended Piqniq by Sergio from FreeDam tours (excellent tour!), we couldn’t find it after our tour (first day in Amsterdam) but managed to stumble on it yesterday. Great atmosphere and food was very good. Three tapas style dishes for 9.70€, for me there...More

One of the best restaurants in Amsterdam. Has gluten free options and food was served hot. I recommend this restaurant for lunch. The crowds are also good and environment is awesome. Food was delicious.

Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

Hi Jaymelynn, As the orhers already replied, we do indeed serve wine and beers. I mean, what is a lunch during your vacation without a nice glass of merlot (or other) or local brewed beer ;-). Hope to see you soon! Best... More

Description
PIQNIQ: for your breakfast, lunch & high tea in the Jordaan area in Amsterdam PIQNIQ as in picnic? Yes, something like that. PIQNIQ is derived from the French word for picnic; pique a nique. Pique means 'choose or pick something' while nique stands for 'a litlle something' means. So PIQNIQ refers to a variety of small dishes of which you can choose from, just like a picnic in the country. At PIQNIQ you are invited to choose from our variety of small sweet & savory dishes and enjoying them in our nice natural restaurant in a typical golden age Amsterdam surrounding while looking at the life on the street, reading a newspaper/magazine/book or take pleasure in a conversation with your table companion(s).At PIQNIQ we serve breakfast, lunch, coffee and tea with sweet bites, fresh juices, smoothies, a quality glass of wine and cold beers. You can also order for a special treat at the office or to take with you to the park or on your boat tour. Take a look at our website for the different possibilities and the menu. We are open daily from 09.00 am. till 05:30 pm.
