if you're italian and in amsterdam and gotta, needta, dying for something that sorta looks like, sorta smells like, sorta has some of the ingredients you know from home, this is about as good as it will get in amsterdam, or anywhere else outside italy. if you ever expect stranieri to serve real food, forget it. otherwise try kartika or... After a 10 hour bus trip to Amsterdam a group of 6 friends wanted a nice meal to celebrate getting to Amsterdam! Our hotel, Ibis Centre immediately suggested Savini and it did not disappoint. Wine is pricey but the house white was delicious and we had 2 bottles! All 6 of us had different orders and everyone was very impressed... More

We throughly enjoyed our dinner at this attractive space near the Central Station. It reminded us of a typical Manhattan Italian restaurant with Manhattan type pricing. The food was quite good and the service was excellent.

It's intimate, the bread was served immediately with an herb butter and I had a lovely half bottle of wine from Naples for 18 Euro. I opted for one of the days "specials",... More

We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel who made the resevervation. When we arrived the restaurant was packed and we had to awkwardly wait at the bar whilst the waiters had to dodge us.the decor is quite dated so the place doesn't look like much-so it was off to a shaky start. However the staff more than made up... More

On our first night we were desperate to find somewhere to eat and found this restaurant by chance. The staff were lovely and really helpful. The porcini risotto was probably the best risotto I have ever eaten. A delight.
