We wandered around the streets of Amsterdam looking for a place for dinner, a place that looked inviting, quirky and a place that served a decent sized meal. I have always avoided ordering ribs (we used to give them to the dogs), but I saw...More

I stayed in a France hotel that offers breakfast in this pub. Breakfast is standard - fresh bread, cheese, salamis, omelet, eggs, jam, tea, coffee, juice - but it was fresh and tasty.

I’ve been going to Molly Malone’s once a month since 2007. The atmosphere is great, the staff friendly and service is great. Food is excellent and my favorite are the lamb chops. I eat that every time I’m there

Had a great time here watching some football (soccer) one afternoon with a bunch of friends. Very accommodative of our requests. Good Guinness. One of the bartenders was a bit surly though - perhaps a bad day. Rest of the gang was very friendly.

We stayed at the France hotel so was convenient for food. It was always cooked well and delicious. Maybe some better music for improvement, but other than that, thoroughly enjoyed our time there

Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Welcome to Molly Malone’s; an Irish pub as it should be! Irish charm, Old world hospitality, lovely food, live music sessions, friendly staff and of course loads of craic; Molly’s has it all! Molly's is located in an historic, former warehouse on the edge of Amsterdam's famous Red Light District and just a couple of minutes walk to the Central Station. Our canal-side terrace faces out towards the St. Nicholas church and is a hot-spot for locals and tourists to relax and take in the lazy life of this delightful Dutch neighbourhood. The interior is lined with old whiskey barrels and aged Irish antiques, and the magnificent oak bar captures the spirit of Irish history in the heart of old Amsterdam. We hope to see you soon!
