Nice unpretentious restaurant around the corner from the Van Gogh. Very good pastas - nice selection of tapas. Wine by the carafe. Satisfying meal for two for 70€ including wine, sparkling water, shared iberico appetizer plate and two pastas.

We turned up for breakfast and were greeted with a scowl. The food that followed didn't improve on that first impression. Fortunately for them I am the only person on the planet who doesn't mind an overcooked ham cheese omelette - this is how they...More

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
