Small Italian restaurant in an old dutch pub. Space is tight so don’t expect privacy. Since we had a birthday to celebrate we started with a Muller Thurgau spumante, very nice dry sparkling wine. I had spicy pappardelle as starter and scaloppine with lemon sauce....More

When arriving I wasn’t sure if the place was a restaurant of a livingroom but my opinion soon changed. The place is owned by Italians who only speak Italian or English and have the best food with great and friendly service for a not too...More

I made a reservation for friends from abroad. Nobody said hello or offered me a drink when I arrived. This is not the Koevoet from the old days with very friendly people from the Jordaan and few tables upstairs. Now you almost sit on eachothers...More

Recommended by my colleagues, so I went here with expectations. And they were more than met. We started with a glass of Prosecco and some antipasti: mozzerella with parmaham. For main I had seabass in lemon sauce and my BF had veal in gorgonzola, which...More

I've stayed in the Jordaan before but just noticed this place. It is quite small and was crowded on a Saturday night but they did fit us in. There is plenty of mediocre Italian food in Amsterdam so this was a nice surprise - absolutely...More

We met with some friends and there small child for dinner here. It was initially a little difficult as our friends child was quite noisy and some of the other diners seemed to have not seen a child before, let alone been one. The waiting...More

A quaint little restaurant hidden away in a delightful area of Amsterdam. Warm welcome, period charm and a lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff and great homemade Italian food.

It's in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam and the building itself is incredibly charming. Very old, with wooden floors, a small downstairs and slightly bigger place a few steps up. We were sitted by the window overlooking a beautiful garden. The service was very friendly...More

We were four of us and my son had invited us to have dinner here. It is indeed a very charming place, an old "bruin café". In the center of Amsterdam. It was crowded and the tables stood very close to each other. However the...More

Such a beautiful restaurant! Small but simply charming. Great service and the food was delicious. The area around it is also very cool so great to wander around. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone going to Amsterdam.

Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
