This is a very nice restaurant, located in Radisson Blu hotel. I had the crab soup and cod, they were both lovely. Staff was attentive, not overly bothersome. Menu has limited choices, but they were very nice options.

Service was ok, could be better. Food was amazing: starters, dinner and dessert. Wine was good. The ordered extra French fries during dinner were fast delivered but poorly cooked.

Good meal, good service, but a little understaffed. Waited a good 10mins before attended to a table. A little noisy as it's close to the hotel lobby.

It was late. Dinner with someone I had just met in an almost empty restaurant on a Wednesday evening might seem like a strain but the staff in this restaurant made us feel at ease and we laughed our way through three courses of good...More

I held a business group meal here for 40. We were given a semi private area in the lower area of the restaurant. It was perfect, great food, good wine, excellent service. I would definitely return.

First night at hotel ate here for dinner by myself. Had the sea bass with vegetables, preceded by sweet potato soup. Had a creme brule for desert. The soup was amazing and the fish was very well cooked and seasoned. Had a solid meal and...More

The place, located in the Radisson blu hotel, is nice from an ambience and decor perspective. Wines were nice, especially the red ones. The main course, guinea fowl with veggies and a corn "cake" was just average and not creative at all. The best was...More

We had a great experience here. We never eat at "the hotel", but after a long day and being the last evening of a 17 night trip, we were left tired and longing for ease. Food turned out to be excellent, fresh, even inventive. A...More

Very good food, excellent friendly service. Very nice atmosphere and architecture. Nice variety and not in a very busy area of town.

Description
Join us in our elegant dining room in the city center of Amsterdam. Named after the renowned 19th-century local grocery store that once existed on the same premises, the food philosophy of Restaurant De Palmboom reflects that of its predecessors. The grocers only used local and organic ingredients to deliver the highest quality and best flavors to the homes of their customers. Today, we work with fresh daily goods and seasonal Dutch produce as much as possible. This local character allows us to ensure the highest quality of all our dishes, from starters right down to desserts. Our Chefs, for instance, only work with certified MRIJ beef from Meuse-Rhine-IJssel cattle. These animals are bred in a secured bloodline, have room to move and are raised on a balanced diet. These conditions allow for a good life which is ultimately reflected in high quality and taste.
