Great tasting menu and reasonably priced. Spring for the better wine pairing. You will not be disappointed. Cozy atmosphere and owners are so nice.

This is a charming venue, with a good concept if the food was better. I had the 3 course meal with the best wine arrangement. Starter okay, main course fish which was very blunt and average paired with a heavy barollo which I didn't like....More

We celebrated my birthday dinner and I give them full points for presentation and taste. Loved the starter done so elaborate. We liked the concept of accompanying wine per course. But expensive but ofcourse this place is for special days.

This is a remarkable little restaurant, small in size but massive in ambition and technical quality. Hans and Igor will tend to your meal personally with dishes that are not simple but make it appear that their creation wasn’t fussy, in short they are sublime...More

Because of the price range and because of al the flavors, its not recommendable to take 5 courses. I recommend 3 or 4. Best wishes, Hans

Within strolling distance from Theatre Carré there is the stage of Hans Verbeek and Igor Sens, the two culinary artists from restaurant Utrechtsedwarstafel. Their performance is a ballet of wine and food. Indulge yourself with the culinary compositions by Igor the Chef and the wines of Sommelier Hans. An adventurous evening awaits. The concept of Utrechtsedwarstafel is straightforward and easily explained. Igor purchases the freshest produce of the season and subsequently composes fine delicate dishes for a multiple course menu. Just mention the number of courses you wish to eat.For every menu Hans creates the perfect wine arrangement. Every course is accompanied by the right match of wine. However, the arrangements vary with respect to the complexity and quality. The bare essence of Utrechtsedwarstafel is that every course is a fertile marriage of wine and food. Its fruits bear your palate a sheer joy.
