First night in Amsterdam and we staying around the corner from Mashua. It was actually my birthday and we were shagged after a hectic day. We grabbed a table by the canal for a beer and then decided we may as well have dinner there as well. It was pretty good. Nice variety and the meals were certainly big and... More

Busy location serving a good menu for lunch full of choices of finger food/tapas style, soups, sandwiches etc. Drinks all the usual suspects. Sat outside in the sun on a March day, appreciating the blue sky and people watching. Tables quickly filled up and the wait times for others did get longer as the waiting staff did the best they... The Lomo Saltado as previously pictured as tasty and plentiful as anything you'd find in the Mother Country - Peru. Opted for something familiar and comfy, but impressed by the array of dishes and the presentation being served to other Guests. Clean and spacious & extremely attentive service. Nice change in Amsterdam!

We liked the menu here while strolling past at a lunchtime, so came back one evening for dinner. We just had mains - the stir fried beef was great, and the lamb was well cooked although the real highlight was the tasty and well-presented rice! Friendly, flexible service and a nice setting on the canal.

The food at Mashua is incredible! I have returned here several years in a row, and since my first visit in 2013, has always offered a delicious menu, awesome service, and if you get to sit outside in the summer you get to see the world pass you by on the canal! An Amsterdam must!

We had a nice little lunch here waiting for our room to get ready. The waitor was friendly and was always close by our table when we needed something. We had Bitterball, a pumpkin soup and a beef sandwich. It all tasted good allthough the soup lacked some crunchieness. Nice location, and we guess even greater when it's warmer and... More

Stumbled across this place while walking with a friend. Booked a table for about 8 and everyone was pleased with the food. The ceviche was amazing. Would go back if in that area again.
