Touring around the north of Holland and stopped in at this town. A very quaint walking area to explore. A lot of shops and stopped here for a lunch. Had some bitter lemon drink and some totsi's. Very nice. Lovely outside patio and good service. Looks like the hotel in the same building would be an ok place to stay.

We just had drinks here after seeking out somewhere that sold the local beer from Us Heit brewery on draught. Beer was very good. Lovely chilled out place to sit watching the towns activity without the frenetic hurry of a big city. Staff were friendly and the food looked good to.

In this unforced setting you can either have drinks or enjoy a good meal, menu or choice of apetizers, desserts and fingerfood. In the Summertime there is a large terrace out front with table service, offering all the good from the interior with the benefits of Sun, shade or a cool breeze. The service is terriffic, some staff has the... More

Our first day in Bolsward, Valentines Day, though you wouldn't know it looking around the town. No heart balloons, no garish decorations anywhere, so we didn't expect almost all the restaurants to be full or very busy. We chose Wijnberg as we'd seen it earlier in the day. Nice 'pub restaurant ' atmosphere. We arrived at about 8-15 pm but... More
