We had been before and knew the quality and volume of food was both extremely high. So this time we asked for smaller portions. We had been before and noticed another couple ask for smaller portions, so that’s what we had. They were very accommodating...More

Went to lunch New Year’s Eve we had two roasts beef and lamb with carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, mash potatoes and roast spuds/parsnips. Good home cooking. Sweets were sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and apple/mixed berry crumble with custard. Couldn’t Fault It.

Visited his hidden gem a few times this year and must say it truly is worthy of 5 stars. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff always friendly and polite, despite it often being fully booked and extremely busy.
