You know, all their food is good, but when some restaurant is famous for something, you need to trust them and give Philipp, the restaurant manager, the chance to have you try what i personally consider one of the best roasted chicken i have ever tried. It's juicy, crispy, tender, tasty. You might even forget to eat the french fries... More

Emilio is an old Spanish restaurant in Zurich. The decoration is nice, simple and a bit old. The menu us rather limited, however what they serve is great. I had a chicken (one of their specialties) which was horrendous expensive (CHF 60). Although my mouth got a bit dry when I saw the price, I must admit that it was... More

Well the decor needs finally some renovation. Old traditional family restaurant were my fahter 30 years alreededy used to go. The price is on the high end side, however the chicks are tasty but the french fries are below the standard for such a Restaurant.

some guests seem to love this place. maybe they had other expectations or simply more luck. I find it totally overpriced and quite a bit snobish, not my place, definitely.

Chicken, chicken, chicken..... 50 Swiss francs, however it was a massive portions and was very tasty. We had two chickens between six of us. The service was very good and the restaurant was very busy, so you need to book. The decor needs updating and the chips definitely need to be improved but otherwise a good experience.

Is the chicken worth over 50 Swiss francs? Yes, it most definitely is! Portions are huge and the quality is unrivalled. Service is friendly and attentive. Last but not least this is one of the rare family businesses and this makes a difference. Also, the Paella and the beef steak are great. The home made french fries are awesome as... More

We just got shocked. Menu with one item. Chicken. 50 francs! With disgusting chips. Street food with crazy price. Tortilla 40 francs. How is it possible that this place is still open? Sorry, go to coop to get a chicken.

We came for a business lunch and got a nice place. Plenty of waiters were around and everybody was very attentive and super friendly. Food came quick and tasted great - all very Spanish incl. native speakers.

This restaurant has been existing for a long time but the quality of the food remains the same. Their speciality is the chicken and it is so tender and delicious.
