How is Cafe Presse Club rated?

Great location and view of the plaza and the Framunster. We arrived about 20,00 2 Sep, so the daytime crowd had dissipated. The venue was still reasonably busy for dinner, but we were able to be seated outside. There was only one server, but she...did a superb job in dealing with all of the customers. Yes, there were waiting periods throughout our dining experience, but they reasonable given the situation. The menu contains a variety of different meal and dessert items. The food is very good. We did not have a dessert. The drink menu, especially the wine, is very limited but adequate. The food/beverages are reasonably priced for the location. We would go back again.More

Amazing spot on a square

As we were looking for a quick coffee stop, we got stuck for more than 2 hours enjoying the lovely athmosphere at this extra place. Had 3 coffee's and some desserts, but coming back for a breakfast for sure. Very good service, keep it up...guys!More

Amazing lunch!

My niece and I literally were strolling the town and just happened to choose this restaurant for lunch. We were so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Gulasche Suppe, Spaghetti Bolognese and a slice of apple kuchen for each....Everything was delicious…probably one of the best meals I have had the entire trip! The apple kuchen slices were ginormous! We left the restaurant very full and very happy! I may return tomorrow! :-)More

Relaxing Bite

Quick service outside of the cafe. Yummy mocha milkshake and croissant with ham. Reasonably priced and great place for people watching in the square.

Excellent

It is the best place to people watch and have a meal or just a cup of coffee. The owner and her family treat you so well. The staff are amazing. We always go to the Cafe Press Club. It is a favourite of the...locals as well. Excellent location in Zurich. Wonderful staff.More

Nice cafe in the old town

Nice cafe in the old town of Zurich. Tasty drinks and ice creams. Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Sit down and enjoy the athmosphere of Zurich.

Slow service

Really slow and impolite service. I had to wait lot of time to order, again lot of time to get my order and needed to ask three times for the bill. At the end the waiter left the POS on my table and left while...I was still paying.More

A bad experience handled well by staff

The stunning view of the Fraumünster certainly draws in the crowd to the Cafe Presse Club, especially on a sunny day. Unfortunately the first coffee served was bitter to the level of being undrinkable but the waiting staff quickly reacted and brought out a better...one. If mistakes like this are avoided, then it’s the perfect sunny hangout spot in the heart of Zürich.More

Excellent capouccino, very kind staff, tasty cakes

I was there with my wife. We drunk one espresso and one cappuccino and we have eaten 2 handmade cakes. We loved all. It's rare to find a so delicious cappuccino and so tasty cakes also in Italy...and we are from Italy! Congratulations to all...the very kind staff!More

Best coffe ever, highest price ever (standard price for Zurich though)

The price is high, although is at the level of any other place in the center of Zurich. However, the service is surprisingly good, nothing like anywhere else in Zurich, a extreme rarity! Also the coffe was extremely good, and nice place in a great...location.More

Waited 15 mins for service.

Waited 15 mins for service. Left without being served. Terrible staff! There are plenty of other cafes nearby to choose from. I’d go there instead.

Terrible service

Waiting 15min just to get the Bill for two Iced Coffees that weren't even worth the 7.50CHF each. We were told three times someone will come "shortly".
