Sher-E-Punjab serves great authentic Punjabi food. The restaurant is part grocery, part restaurant and part take-away. The sitting area is only a few tables and very simple. The simplicity and the great food is really part of the charm as well as the friendly Sikh couple who own/run the restaurant.

Price is very very high in comparison to food provided and is not recommended for anyone. Would never suggest for fine dining. Better to see some other place if looking for Indian options

Went along with my friends over the weekend. There was just a Sardarji running the place and it was empty when we got there. However, over time the place was filled! It was a very humble place though. When we ordered, we realized that he was the only one taking orders and cooking the meal on the spot. Surprisingly the... More

the food is very authentic and the owner also takes great care with spices. Highly recommended. The ambience may not be super fancy as one would except but the food is very delicious..we tried Dal, Paneer and Chicken n all were amazing. Please don't be annoyed if it takes a little long to be served, its just 1 person taking... More

Have been to this restaurant twice during the visit. Food is bit erratic, 1st time food was average but 2nd time food was nice. Good place if you are looking for very spicy (hot) food. Service is efficient but attitude is bit confusing. One must check ordering policy before making reservation. Also not a suitable place for large group and... More

Run by a sardarjii , this place offers all the Indian curries and food options and sells Indian food stuff as well. All the food is cooked by the same person and served as well . The place is small with basic decor but offers really good food , price is a bit on the higher end but for Indian... More

Humble restaurant with authentic and really good food. We've been to Asia a couple of times and can judge how this food should taste. Expectations met.

Such an odd place. An older gentleman serves DELICIOUS curries but the place seems never to be busy (I've only been at lunchtime). The guy seems alone - can he be making all that yummy food or is he just warming it up? Some might wish for tablecloths but I like the casual atmosphere where I can get my own... More

This is basically a take away with attached Indian super market selection and a handful of tables to eat there. The atmosphere is thus a bit lacking. The owner was running the place alone on a Saturday evening and I was the only guest at the time. He was very friendly, service was speedy, and if you like 'authentic spicy'... More
