I have had dinner here several times now, with business partners and with friends, and Toscano is becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Zurich. Authentically Italian food, wine and service of high quality and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and waitstaff. I had the bruschetta (very garlicky, which I liked!) And the tuna with risotto and sautéed spinach - really nice! Very filling, excellent meal. Also enjoyed half bottle of carignan. Was recommended this place for good value but this meal was about 100 CHF, which seems expensive for one person even by London standards. But still... More

I have been there a couple of times and had always a good experience and service. Pizza and Pasta is delicious. Even more recommended in summer, because they have cute little tables on the outside to enjoy the sun. Also had my first date there with my boyfriend. :)

I found this very nice little restaurant by coincidence, being attracted to it's inviting and authentic atmosphere. I had a wonderful dinner with well prepared gambi, great seabars and a real tiramisu. The location is in the old quarters, rather close to central train station, so very convenient. I'll for sure come here again.

We came here late on a Wednesday night on a whim as our first choice was busy . The food was decent but overpriced for me from my experience of good Italians in Italy and London - the marks down were being given a bottle of 50cl " on recommendation" (aka not knowing the price) without being given a choice... Great welcome with a warm smile. An appetizer is included with the main course. Great choice of Primis and Secondos, pastas, meats and fish. Not cheap but very good value for the money. Close to the Hauptbahnhof/Main Train Station, but away from the hubub and higher prices.

I've been to this restaurant twice. It's in the Zürich Niederdorf, close to the Limmat but in a side street. The building is not large and the restaurant is on two floors; seating is sufficient but space is not generous. The menu has a reasonable choice, the food for our group of 5 arrived quite promptly, and all were satisfied... More

This tiny place is worth a visit. Just off the main restaurant area of Zurich Very friendly service and excellent basic Italian food. The bruschetta (yes how wrong can you go with bruschetta?) were just delicious. The fish of the day, memorable. The lemon risotto was perfect. The penne alghero is delicious if you like anchovies. Tiramisu is made with... More

Other than good location in the old town, I can't say anything good aboit this eatery. If the weather is good, one can enjoy it sitting putside, but the food is in worst traditions of Zurich gastronomy: lacking imagination, very oily, soulless, homeopatic portions and wuite expensive for that. Will never go herer again.

We stayed for three days in Zurich and visited a number of restaurants for lunch and dinner. Toscana was by far the best. We were greeted by a lovely Italian waiter who spoke broken English. However we had no difficulty with ordering and we enjoyed an excellent dinner. While not an extensive wine list, this restaurant offers a range of... More
