It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was just right next to our hotel around the corner. The place was really packed. We were led to the end table for two which was quieter. We would like to have lasagne or machheroni but both were not available. So we settled for a pizza with chili salami, tomato, mozzarella and... More

For a change of pace on our Switzerland vacation we stopped in La Vita our first night in Chur. It was extremely close to the hotel. Traditional Italian dishes were a welcome change from all the Swiss and German we'd been eating for a week. The bolognese was excellent, served on fresh pasta. The other dish was veal saltimbocca. Paired... More

Waited 90minutes for food and the waiter was extremely rude when asked why it was taking so long.Would have walked out but was near our hotel and it was snowing.Date visited was the 2nd of January, excuse given "we are very busy"my response was who cares where is the food? I would never go there again.

We found La Via by accident and were pleasantly surprised by our whole dining experience there. Decor was modern - quite simple but very effective, they had a lovely varied menu, and the standard of food was excellent. The young waiter, although he couldn't speak much English (our fault because we couldn't speak German!) was extremely helpful, and kept running... More

As the traffic on the highway was so heavy we decided to stop in Chur to have dinner. We jumped in at the La Vita and we were very positive surprised. The staff is super friendly and professional and the kitchen made an amazing job. The ambiente is ok.

Visited here when staying in Chur on the night of the carnival so very busy but we managed to pre-book a table earlier in the day. Lovely place but service seemed a bit pre-occupied with a large table so they were a bit slow. That said, we had a great evening and the food was very good, particularly the surprise... More

Definitely one of the great places to go in Chur, It's not open enough but the staff are experienced in fine food presentation and service. Single guys should stay away, the girls waitresses are captivating.

I loved this restaurant. I ate there twice during my stay in Chur. The first time I had a dish with three different servings of pasta. One had a pesto sauce, one a cream sauce, and the other a tomato sauce. It made for a coulourful presentation and was excellent. The second time I had a very nice pizza. It... More
