Straightforward menu, great food, amazing value for money. Pizza and pasta, back to the basics in an industry that sometimes tries too hard.

On our 4th night at Lucerne my husband and I had dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant is small, cosy and central. The menu, which was in German, offered different types of pastas, pizzas and salads. I had a calzone and hubby had pasta. Food was good and prices were not so expensive compared to other restaurants in Switzerland. I... More

Basilico is a nice restaurant with very reasonable prices for Luzern city. They serve mostly pizza and Pasta but all well prepared. it is not very big, therefor a reservation could be recommended. the service is also friendly.

We ate here because recommended by a nearby hotel. As it turns out, the hotels are part of the same group. The menu is tiny. Selections are very limited. No substitutions. No gluten free. No vegan. Other restrictions. Very expensive. In a word: don't bother.

Despite being off the beaten path, the restaurant has a great selection of pastas and pizzas, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I had the "Stockholm" pasta, which was delicious. Definitely worth checking out!

During my two weeks in Lucern, I have eaten at this wonderful restaurant several times. I've had pizza and pasta and every meal has been wonderful. Sit inside or out., service is outstanding too.

The restaurant was not far from our hotel, so we decided to try a restaurant that is less touristy and we were glad we did! It is a small restaurant that serves salad, pizza, traditional pasta dishes along with some specialty pasta dishes. The service was good and the meals were a little bit more reasonable than the usual tourist... More

Stopped by with my husband for a dinner on a Friday night and the place steadily busy. I would recommend making a reservation. The seating inside is very warm so I would recommend sitting outside or close to the door if possible. We ordered the rocket salad (plain but refreshing after all the rich Swiss food), pasta carbonara (definitely should... More
