We went there today for lunch. The maître d' treated us so badly, we ended up asking for cheque and leaving mid-meal. There were other groups being ignored and left without service at tables for considerable time also, only to be greated with a rude and grumpy old man pushing patrons for fast ordering and no conversation about the meals.... I like this place because it has a certain charm and the waiters are very friendly. The food is good as well and the location is very central in the old town. Because of that it is also very touristic, but it's what you might expect at a place next to the maison Tavel and the cathedral. It has a... More

A charming place in the old town of Geneva. Great service, and the food is great. It is a must to visit when in Geneva.

We found this place by chance and had a wonderful evening thanks to Roman's fantastic service and the delicious food. Highly recommend the French Onion Soup and the Cheese Fondue.

We sat outside on a nice warm day and enjoyed the meat and cheese plate with a bowl of soup and some wine. Beware to specify a small plate or a large plate. If you don't, they will bring you a large plate for 10 Francs more.

We found the place randomly, my friend and I were just walking around visiting geneve but luckily we went there. First of all i am truly in love with the decor. The place looks so authentic, and i really loved it there, with all the hats and the canons very original. We ordered two lasagnes and we were not disappointed!... More

A typical old school restaurant. There is a solid cheese fondue focus here and you know that from well outside the front door. A classy joint, with excellent service. The food was outstanding. Strongly recommend.

We arrived on a busy Saturday night during the "L'Escalade" celebrations so the old town was packed with people celebrating. The atmosphere was fantastic and was only surpassed by the quality of the food which was truly excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and the welcome was warm from the outset. Whilst the prices were... More

The Hotel de Ville generously accommodated a group of 10 (plus dog) at the last minute without a booking one Saturday night. Delicious cheese fondues, one with mushrooms, served with little potatoes, gherkins and cocktail onions. Speedy, cheerful service.

We had an18 person business lunch. In an hour and a half our waiter Sebastien served the food, drinks and coffee. We had the choice of fish (salmon) and meat (porc). A salad or soup as starter. Gluten free without any problems. Both dishes were excellent. Merlot wine very nice. There is a separate room upstairs so a group can... More
