We always come back to les armures. Good ambiance in the middle of the old town . Good service. Great for Fondu (cheese and meat). Sure bet.

This is a great restaurant in the old town of Geneva. Very good service and good food. To get a good table, make reservations in advance. Known for its fondue and raclette.

Came here by accident and was surprised at the great international atmosphere and fantastic food. Very simple but incredibly delicious.

We came here to experience Swiss fondue and were not disappointed. We had the traditional kind and the tomato (which tasted like cheesy tomato soup).

We ate twice at this restaurant whilst we were in Geneva and both times were excellent. Service was good and we were offered an excellent Swiss white wine (did not know the Swiss made wine). Some of the best lamb cutlets that I have eaten anywhere in the world and their rosti is five star.

I had the rumpsteak with champignon mushroom sauce. Meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce is extremely tasty.

Ok, it is not my kind of place. Everything just seems 'heavy'. But it has its clientèle and I get that. The fondu was great. The wine excellent. The service pleasant and professional.

I love this restaurant though I don't go often because it is a little pricy. Bill and Hillary Clinton have been here as well as many other world dignitaries. One evening, I met the former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. We had a great conversation in French. I always order the same thing... the endive salad and the raclette. Heaven!

At least that is our/my impression after a Saturday evening dinner for two. Perhaps the overall rating is relying heavily on a certain dish or two, something we did not have? Our choice of starters and mains were disappointingly poor. Six pieces of snails and onion soup are usually something of characteristic taste, however not in this particular serving. The... More
