Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a rather disappointing lunch at Tags Cafe. For one thing there were people eating pasta and nice looking salads, but those items did not appear on the menu. I tried to ask my server why but my french is very limited and he...did not speak English, so I ended up just ordering a club sandwich. It was one of the worst I've ever had. It was ice cold, drenched in mayo, and served with fries that were 200% salt. Considering it cost CHF 25 I am very disappointed.More

We are sorry and disappointed to see the quality of the food at Tag's cafe and the service deteriorating this much. It used to be our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Recipes are no longer consistent (same salad, different dressings on different days); staff are...not attentive (dish not as we had asked, waiters do not even notice when there is no more water on the table nor proposed anything when the bottle was empty, we also had to fetch the bread ourselves); very long wait before taking the order and when bringing the food (not to mention being served after several groups that arrived after us). We wondered if it is because of the change of staff: we have noticed that several waiters that were efficient, attentive and client-oriented are no longer working at Tag's café, and we also learned that it has a new chef (and new management?). While being regular customers at Tag's cafe for the last 10 years at least, we unfortunately think we will go back only when we have no other choices.More

I went to cafe for lunch. The way the cafe is laid is unique and stylish in its own way. It offers the cafe a good spacious look. I tried fish and soup of the day. The soup was yummy and also the bread they...serve with butter was fresh. The bread was complimentary. The best surprise was the desserts...they get the entire range on a table to help you make the choice. Try the mini versions....more variety and so yummy in tasteMore

Part of the N'vY Hotel - Tag's is a casual cafe with fare like burgers, clib sandwiches etc. I had the classic burger - it was fresh & hot & service was good. An easy place to eat if you are staying at the hotel...and have had a long day touring.More

We came for pre-dinner drinks and found a nice table outside. Service was very friendly and we had fresh beer and cocktails. On top a few nuts and olives from the house, hence altogether a great start into the evening.

Surprisingly the food we ordered as room service was delicious! Cooked to perfection we ordered the salmon & also the shrimp risotto. I can only comment that the shrimp risotto was a little one dimensional & a bit bland after a few bites. All in...all highly recommend.More

I love Tags for its ambience, Funky decor and lovely staff. I am a regular to NvY Manotel and wouldn't go anywhere in Geneva for my coffee and catchup on emails between my meetings.

We were staying in the Hotel N'vy and. after a long day, decided to give the hotel cafe a try. We were a bit on the early side and sat outside. The service was very good. I had a salmon dish and my companion had...the fish and chips; we both enjoyed the food very much. Didn't think it was overly pricey for a hotel cafe.More

Really nice decor with lounge meets modern diner type vibe. Unusual for Geneva. The menu has the intenational classics, such as pasta, burgers, risotto, fish and chips as well as filet de perches, all fresh and well cooked. Good wine and drinks menu too. Well...worth a visitMore

I ate here one night when I did not want to go out again. The prices are quite high but the food was good. I ordered a bacon cheese burger. It came out promptly and the fries were very good as well.
