Nice place with good local cuisine to have a break during the visit to the Museum of Art and History. If the weather is nice you can take a seat on the terrasse. Friendly waiters.

It is a good place to eat if you are either visiting the old town or the museum of Art & Histoire. The food is quiet good and service is friendly even if - at times - there is a long wait. In the summer months one can eat inside the Museum's gardens and it is lovely . There is... More

Recently my beautiful daughter and I had lunch at the Barocco, which is housed in the lowest level of the Museum of Art and History in Geneva, quite close to the Old City quarter. I had received a recommendation to the place and eaten there about 16 years ago and remembered it as being quite beautiful. I returned and was... More

Little to add. It is a good place to eat if you are visiting the museum but not worth a special trip. Service good, food just OK - aubergines stuffed ravioli was filling but did not taste much of aubergines and the rucola pesto was nondescript. My partner's salad was similarly edible, a decent portion, but unexciting. God coffee.

I met with a friend for lunch here and I was not disappointed. The interior looks grand with the high ceilings and the "pierre de taille" which is a stone that is light yellow-beige colored (like the Haussmann buildings you find in Paris). Anyway, I had tartar of white fish japanese style which came with some salad and wasabi. The... More

Excellent cafe serving delicious food in the middle of the museum of art and history. Lovely courtyard in the middle of the museum or plenty of seats inside if it's wet. Great staff and equally good service plus we went on Sunday and it was free entry I to the museum.

The Musée Art et Histoire of Geneva, besides its art collection, (small but with some real gems), is also a good place to hear music. Not every Sunday, you have to check the program, but every few weeks or so there are concerts at 11AM in the Salle des armures, which has outstanding acoustics. There are concerts other days of... A very special place in the middle of Geneva downtown, located in the heart of a beautiful museum building, especially in the summer when tables are located in a unique patio. Food is like the place, an enjoyment, a special moment. Menu is not big, but well balanced, your mouth will thank you.

We rarely have the opportunity of going to Le Barocco but we came back at lunch and really enjoyed our meal on the terrasse. Service is very good, food was excellent; the plat du jour is always good and our other dishes were excellent: great smoked féra tartare and the usual beef tartare. Deserts are homemade and are a real... More
