The service in Kleinbasel is excellent and always friendly. Their Pastries are very good and very authentic Italian. The Espresso is also the best in town.... When you are there you feel like you are in Italy....

Visited da Graziella in Kleinbasel. In general al nice locations with nice atmosphere but in Kleinbasel - very unfriendly staff with arrogant attitude - personnel unhappy being disturbed by customer - exagerated prices - food has medium quality and could be more italian style Overall no recommendation due to service and prices.

We found this cafeteria by coincidence since it was located close to our hotel. It is a small cafeteria with few tables inside and outside. All clients were at that moment Italian and the place was full with people standing, drinking coffee and speaking to each other. It gave me somehow a warm and family atmosphere. We tried the cannoli... More

Just moved into the area and saw that this place was open on a Sunday morning. Headed down and got a few croissants and another pastry to take away. It was all quite good and fresh. Will definitely go back.

This is a real secret find! We just moved to the area and thought we'd check it out on a Sunday morning. Having grown up in Switzerland I am used to quite a lot of dissapointing coffee places which have a good location or good potential but then waste it with the same boring coffee and boring gipfels/baked goods. Da... More

If you want to eat awesome cornetti (Italian croissants), this is the place to go. They are like.. Perfect. There's three others shops in Basel.

Service in Switzerland is not fantastic but in this place I was treated as I was the less welcomed person there. So, I am Italian and in Italy for a croissant and a cappuccino, you pay less than three euro and the waitress is not treating you as the worst enemy. I know I cannot compare the prices, Switzerland is... More

This caffetteria is inspired to italian breakfast bars. The pastries (cornetti) are different from the industrial made ones that you find at Starbucks. I suspect they make pastries but I'm not sure. Cappuccino and coffee are great. The owners are sicilian and they offer "tavola calda". The quality of tavola calda is medium, I think that if you are lucky... More

Visiting friends in Basel they suggest we had breakfast at Da Graziella. Early in the morning and already full of people but we manage to find enough seats for everybody. The caffetteria is great. Patries are delicious and coffee too, service is perfect. We had children with us and they loved the place too. Definitely a place worth visiting.

If someone asked me how I should rate Da Graziella's coffee on a scale from one to ten, nine would be my choice. (Ten is the kind of excellence I would never even presume to bestow, not being a culinary expert but just your lowly coffee shop addict.) What I mean to say by this is simply that Da Graziella...
