I went to Dal mi coco twice whilst I lived in Perugia and am so glad I did, it's very good value for money at about 13€ a head for the menu of the day which is about 3 courses but main event definitely the massive dishes of pasta!

Amazing place! We payed 13€ each for delicious food that can only be described as medieval in quantity. We'll come here again.

Nice place, hold in familiar and cozy atmosphere. Food is fresh and delicious! Maybe not very good for children (you can't actually choose the dish, there's a menu of the day), but they even made some meals in a vegetarian way especially for our friend, who's not eating meat. It's really worth trying!

This typical, local restaurant serves a different menu every day and there is little or no choice. We each had an antipasto, two different first courses, a mixed grill and two vedge, a desert, wine and water, vinsanto. It was abundant, wholesome and served with charm and courtesy. Extremely affordable, pleasant atmosphere, central location. I recommend it highly. Here you... More

The Dal mi Cocco offers a low priced meal with abundant servings and inexpensive wine, but the flavor of the food, while just fine, is really not that special or typical of Umbria. Unless you are a young college who is consuming mass quantities, seek out somewhere else.

Booked for lunch, it is suggested that you always need to book. Fixed menu, great if the menu suits your needs. Last went there 26 years ago and hasn't changed at all. Really good value.

On the plus side, the mineral water was cold. On the negative side, the appetizers tasted old and stale. The gnocchi and spicy spaghetti were drowned in mediocre tomato sauce. [canned, I suspect] The pork didn't taste bad; it didn't taste at all! The desert was uninspired. On the menu, it recommended that you phone ahead for reservations to avoid... More

For about 15 euros, you get a 4/5 course meal - all of them delicious! The food was great, you get a ton of it for a cheap price. The only thing is that the weekly menu is the same - Gnocchi is always served on Wednesdays, etc. So just make sure you go on a day where the meal... More

Set menu for 13€/person. Cheap restaurant but the dishes were good and interesting. Very unique atmosphere with everybody eating the same and, boy, is this place popular! Glad I ate here. Worth visitng.

We stopped by at the beginning of our visit to Perugia to book a table for lunch- we were a group of 7 people. Absolutely loved it: after a DELICIOUS focaccia (3 flavours)as a starter came 2 big dishes (risotto and home made pasta). More than enough for everyone to help themselves and enjoy generous portions of each. The meat... More
