You receive a glass of prosecco on arrival, amazing food and a unique atmosphere. The service was nothing short of amazing. My waitress was incredible. She was professional, polite and very helpful. The food was delicious. I had the Black Truffle pasta and a antipasto sampler. Both were incredibly delicious. It costs a little more than your average restaurants but... More

If I could summarize the experience in one word it would be sublime! Service was impeccable, from beginning to end. The food was absolutely breath taking and unique in flavor and precision. I recommend the Camembert for antipasto and then the papardelle al ragù. Claudio, the chef, is an added bonus to the amazing experience of dining at La Taverna:... More

I came here with my boyfriend, LB, on the recommendation of a friend and we were slightly underwhelmed. The first mistake was ours; sitting down for dinner in Italy at 8pm. It was far too early and only did the restaurant start getting busy when we left at 9.30pm. I had a beautiful tuna sashimi and homemade ginger starter which... More

Both the menu and the service are both traditional but excellent and the restaurant is set in a beautiful old building down an alleyway in the centro storico.

When you walk into a restaurant in Italy and you see only Italians you know you have chosen well. We came here for Sunday lunch and thus there were lots of families. If you haven't booked a table best try to get there by 1pm, as it seems most people arrive just after 1:30pm. This is a big place, with... More

So great - we went two nights in a row! The friendly and fabulous Chef sat with us and shared some of his stories (turns out he once worked for Donald Trump!) Atmosphere, location, food are all top notch. A short walk from the Brufani Palace Hotel, down some ancient steps onto a picturesque backstreet. After two long days touring... More

You're getting a glass of prosecco on arrival, a unique and ambient atmosphere, amazing food. Then what? Then a chef comes and asks you if you enjoyed that - I promise you will have! The desert service is very special: I'm not a sweet tooth but when the waitress wheeled in a trolley with the moulages of the selection even... More

Not too far from the main pedestrian central avenue at the end of a narrow path this restaurant will charm you with vaulted brick ceilings old wood furniture and wine shelves. The food is up to your best expectations and is based ob local dishes where in season the truffle is kin. We had it on pappardelle end we still... More

A group of about 25 people dined here one evening in a separate room, vaulted in brick in such a way that sound didn't travel or become overwhelming. We couldn't hear people in other dining areas because the walls are too thick to transmit sound. The other rooms were also vaulted, giving an old and cozy feeling. The food was... More

Been there during a business trip with one of my business partners. Definitely recommendable with a warm, familiar atmosphere. We went home with the good feeling of a quality evening. Thanks for an unforgettable night and the unforgettable 🍷 recommendation, which was well worth the price.
