Friendly staff, traditional, small restaurant. Good location if you are staying nearby or if you have been to St Francis. Food is basic but nice.
Tucked away at the side of the Piazza Abbazia San Pietro this restaurant serves good local food and a great selection of very reasonably priced bottles and half bottles of the local wines such as Montefalco.
Da Cecco was recommended by our hotel, Sorella Luna. It was an excellent recommendation. We had wild boar stew, vegetable soup, grilled egg plant and fried artichoke. Every single dish was nicely done. The service was also good and friendly.

Friendly service and a wonderful meal; very handy to the Basilica of Saint Francis. I had the stew of wild boar: the meat was meltingly tender.
