We ate dinner tonight in a restaurant that the tables were full. We were a walk in after hotel Rep recommend restaurant. Were seated at nice table and quickly attended to. Dinner of vegetable torte, mixed salad (both shared), ravioli stuffed with cheese & spinach & lasagne. The dinner was amazing with warm & welcoming atmosphere. The flavors were fantastic... More

We had a corner table for two. The restaurant has stucco and brick walls, linen tablecloths and napkins. The house wine was really good. The antipasto was good and so was my grilled chicken My husband had the gnocchi. It was the best we have ever had!

We tried the tourist menu here and it was just the right amount of food, fresh and delicious. Service was friendly, although they seemed slower when things got very busy.

We ate here one night after so many recommendations and were pleased, but I'd have to say we were underwhelmed, as our expectations were so high. The food was all freshly prepared and the service was great, I would recommend it as a safe bet of getting a decent meal while in Assisi.

Best meal we've had in Italy thus far! Great location, intimate and right in the heart of Assisi! Locals were dining here as well as tourists, the food and wine were outstanding. We ordered the Artichoke Gratin off the seasonal menu...highly recommend!

This is a traditional trattoria in a very good location, right in the middle of Assisi. The menu is a very good showcase of Umbrian cuisine and service was slightly above average (in general, service is terrible in Italy). Prices are decent and the general atmosphere if the place is nice. I was very satisfied with the meal and would... More

I had lunch with my wife in this restaurant. The food was very good, i had the lasagna and my wife had veal, both were excellent. Service was quick and good. We very much enjoyed this place and it remains open even in the low season months (jan-mar)

Had a really nice lunch in Assisi that was arranged by our travel agency. Nice starters, and two great pasta dishes before the real treat -- lamb and quail! A lot of food but it was excellent and my family finished most of it. Service was quick and friendly. Would highly recommend if visiting the area.

A local recommended this hidden restaurant part of a hotel and it was worth it. The gnocchis were delicious and the yogurt with honey and walnuts was divine. The staff was very quick and kind. The decorations with cats and st francis poems was very cozy.

In the Piazza Del Comune, right in front of the Temple of Minerva, you pass an arch known as “Volta Pinta” with the marvellous grotesques painted by Raffaellino Del Colle in the sixteenth century. Trattoria Pallotta is discretely set apart, at the end.The simple decor will make you feel the familial warmth. Before being seated at your table, ask to visit the cellar that was discovered during the renovation works. Here you will find many regional labels as well as a small selection of national wines, some of which are served by the glass.Margherita looks after the preparation of the meals, using prime local produce and will always offer you new seasonal dishes, staying faithful to the tradition.
